Hi Ali,

This out means output. As this is just a partial output from "sh interface" command.

Anyways there are lot of collisions seen which can be due to speed and duplex mismatch. Can you paste the output of "sh interface fa0/1" and also "sh run intarface fa0/1".

Also if speed and duplex settings are ok then it could be a cable problem also.

Ankur

HI FRIEND!

ANKUR;SORRY THERE IS TYPING ERROR IN THAT POST

SORRY FRIEND

ALI

HI

DID U MEAN CABLING ERROR FROM THE TRANCIVER TO THE SWITCH.OR FROM THE UNITS TO THE TRANCEIVER?

ALI

Hi Ali,

First check the speed and duplex settings and if that is ok then check the cabling from the switch to where ever it is connected as the errror is reported in the switch interface to whatever is directly connected with this interface check the cabling between that and switch.

Regards,

Ankur
