A NAT Destination Case

Hi,

I need a nat config to alter destination address of packets coming in form the inside, traveling to the outside. Will "ip nat inside destination" command do this? As long as I know there's no "ip nat outside destination" command.

Please see below my response to your queries.

I once saw this command in a 7206 which has the ip nat outside destination command, and the IOS version is 12.2(6) with a 3DES feature set. The command "ip nat outside destination static" is a hidden and unsupported command. In this case you need to use ip nat outside source static or ip nat inside source static.
