A strange problem with 2950

Hi, everyone.

I am experiencing a strange problem with

2950.

The IOS of the Switch is c2950-i6q4l2-mz.121-19.EA1c. Whenever I plug out a cable or one of the pcs turns up,all active access ports of the switch turn Amber and lose connectivity about 20 seconds. The problem was solved after I upgrade the IOS to 12.1(22).

Can anyone give me an explaination of this problem or detailed bug information ?

You were probably running rapid spanning tree?

This was an issue with 12.1(19)EA1c.
