A terrible problem when i´ve loaded a new IOS

Hello.

Yesterday, i was uploading a new IOS version in my router 2610 (3DES version) and then, when i finished it, i was reseted the machine and i received the message:

"*** Program Exception ***

PC = 0x80008d58, Vector = 0x700, SP = 0x8000613c

monitor: command "boot" aborted due to exception"

After that, the router started in ROM status and i don´t know what can i do.

Anybody can help me? Why can´t this router start?

(NOTE: Before the uploading, i extended the RAM memory (48MB).

Please provide the name of the file you loaded in the router.

Re: A terrible problem when i´ve loaded a new IOS

the file name is c2600-ik9o3s-mz.122-8.T8.bin

Re: A terrible problem when i´ve loaded a new IOS

The filename will be: c2600-ik8o3s-mz.122-8.T8.bin.

Feature set IP/FW/IDS PLUS IPSEC 56.

Memory requirements are 16Flash, 64Mb RAM.

You may not require the firewall in which case you can revert to:

c2600-ik8s-mz.122-8.T8.bin

IP PLUS IPSEC 56

For this image 16/64 is also required but there is more chance that it will run with only 48Mb of RAM.

Goodluck.
