Hi all,

heres something really fuzzy....

I have a /30 subnet with 2 usable ips (152.122.132.33 and 34), 1 network ip (152.122.132.32) and 1 broadcast ip (152.122.132.35). I am able to telnet my network ip (152.122.132.32) and get into the router having 152.122.132.33 as the serial ip.

I am unable to ping but able to telnet...

Any help.

Check your configuration and make sure you do not have any access-list configured that would prevent ICMP traffic to pass.

Here the issue is i shouldnt be able to telnet a network ip but i am able to do so.

Is this because of some bug????

Hello,

definitely weird, which IOS and platform are you using ? Can you post your config ?

Regards,

Georg
