About bridge-group....

Hi, all...

I have a question. I just replaced a network device from Cisco 3500 router to Catalyst 4506. and the ios version of cat 4506 is 12.1.13 EW.

I only need the function of Bridge-group to enable Bridge mode.

But I cannot find anything about that configuration on cat 4506

How can I enable the bridge-group ?

Any answer welcome......

Fallback bridging is not supported in 12.1(13)EW or in any other software for the Sup3/Sup4. (Look up unsupported features in the release notes).

So if you want to bridge between VLANs, you'll need an external router to do so.
