I don't know what's mean of administratively-prohibited and I can't find any info about this on cco.

Re: access-list icmp

hi

The administratively-prohibided is a code field in the icmp packet.

That means you can selective filter icmp messages by the code field.

Here a link about acl where you can see the optional filtering of code fields:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122sup/122csum/csum1/122csip1/1sfip1.htm#1017448

==> search for "icmp-code"

Check this link about icmp code fields.

http://www.iana.org/assignments/icmp-parameters

hope that helps

Re: access-list icmp

Hi,

administratively-prohibited is a type of ICMP message (as redirect or echo-replay, e.g.).

See http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/atm/c8540/12_1/12_1_14/command/a.pdf for details.

Regards,

Milan
