access-list in 2950

Hi all,

I find that my 2950-24T (12.1(11)EA1) has "access-list" command in config mode and "ip access-group" in interface mode. So can I apply access-list in a fast ethernet interface? and How about 3550? I remember in 3550 manual cisco told us to use vlan access-map to use for access control. So if I can apply access-list in the interface directly, it's more convenient. Does any body have idea? Thank You!

Best Regards

Re: access-list in 2950

Teru,

Yes you should be able to apply this to both physical layer 2 and management VLAN interfaces. See the following URL for details on your code and application.

Hope this helps you,
