Access-list on layer 3 switch? - Does this design works?
Will my design below works?
I have 3 servers with 2 NIC each :
Server A : 10.1.1.1/16 and 192.168.28.1/24
Server B : 10.1.2.2/16 and 192.168.28.2/24
Server C : 10.1.3.3/16 and 192.168.28.3/24
I have another application server (Server Z) with 1 NIC : 192.168.28.4/24
All the 10.x.x.x segment is connected to my Core switch (Cat 6) with different vlan A, B and C. If i have a layer 3 switch (eg cat 3550) and connect all the 192.168.28.x segment together, can i use acces-list to control Server Z can talk to Server A,B,C and vice versa.
But I do not want Server A to talk to Server B and C. Server B is not allow to talk to Server A and C. Also server C is not allow to talk to server A and B.
