access-lists

Hi,

I'm troubleshooting some connectivity issues between a 6509 and a 3600 router, I perform a show acces-lists command on the router and I see 3 access-lists, however when I perform a sh ip interface and none of the acces-lists are applied to any E or S interfaces. If they are not applied to any interfaces, can I get rid of them?

Thanks

Re: access-lists

Not necessarily.

Access-list can be used with policy routing, NAT, distributing routes, etc...

You must find out if there are *ANY* occurances of the list *ANYWHERE* in the config.

Mick.
