We have been using a pair of GSS appliances for few years to automatically switch between active servers and standby servers. We now need to use the GSS to load balance between 2 active servers. In order to do that we need to activate the sticky feature of the GSS.
Has anyone got this working?
We have configured the traffic management part to do Global Sticky, and have configured the DNS Rule to do Domain list sticky. But when we test this, and look at the "show sticky database all" on the GSS, nothing gets put in the database and therefore, the answers we get back are round robin.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
