Adding T-1s to remote sites

We are in the process of adding a second T-1 to our remote site. Currently we are using HDLC and Ip unumbered. What will need to be configured to to allow for the second T-1 at each site?

Re: Adding T-1s to remote sites

Hello Randy,

for the purpose of load balancing, put the two T1 leased lines in a ppp multilink bundle. Use IP unnumbered and the same encapsulation (HDLC) on the second interface.

To configure ppp multilink, put the following commands on each interface you want to have in the multilink bundle:

ppp multilink

multilink-group 1
