ADSL outbound Load balancing

Hi ,Im trying to load balance 2x2meg adsl lines that terminate in the same cisco 2610. Im using inbound balancing via OSPF as I also own the LNS(L2tp)routers. Currently for outbound connectivity from the 2610 ive put in 2 default routes . One via dialer 1 and the other via dialer 2

This sort of acheives load balancing except if I run mrtg I can see that one line gets used more than the other. Both lines are 256k upstream but i wondered if there was another method which may be more suitable

Thanks

If you own both the routers, you could run ppp multilink.

Re: ADSL outbound Load balancing

Hi,thanks for the quick reply

Im using dialer interfaces for each adsl connection

interface Dialer1

ip address negotiated

encapsulation ppp

dialer pool 1

dialer-group 1

ppp authentication chap pap callin

ppp chap hostname gotadsl.***/***-d**

ppp chap password 7 *******

ppp pap sent-username gotadsl.***/***-d** password ***

It wont allow me to put dialer interfaces into a multi link group.

Should I be using something other than a dialer interface perhaps!
