ADSL to Frame-Relay using IGX with ATFX con

I have an ADSL modem/ bridge that I have connected to a DSLAM and ATFX pvc going to a serial connection on a 3640. I cannot get the two sides to talk. I've used a standard frame-relay subinterface and DLCI command and a simple ATFX con. Anyone ever tried this?

Re: ADSL to Frame-Relay using IGX with ATFX con

First of all check the half PVC's. Means from Frame relay switch to 3640 router and Frame relay switch to other. At 3640, you can identify the communication by "debug frame-relay lmi" and "show frame-relay lmi" commands.

1. Remember that LMI type configuration depends on the to which LOCAL Frame relay switch you have connected. So, both ends LMI type configuration might be different.

2. Be sure to set encapsulation to "IETF" if you are trying to talk to non-cisco device.
