My client need to access Internet over ADSL line. The service provider assgns dynamic IPs for clients. The Client LAN has to be protected by passing INternet traffc through PIX firewall. Ids this config is possible ?

Re: ADSL with dynamic IP

Mostly all CPEs act as bridge (ADSL). And they use PPPoE or PPPoA. You can configure PPPoE on the PIX firewall and get a dynamic ip address from ISP via PPPoE. This IP will be a public IP. The clients can be on the inside interface of PIX with private address and NAT can be used to translate client address to the public address space.

The PIX is already connected to two other routers that connectrs with the Internet through leased lines.

Can this new ADSL link co-exist with these connections ?
