I was wondering; is it possible to advertise Vlans (i.e. 1-4) from one LAN to another LAN across a WAN link (i.e. 2 routers connected by a T1 line). If so, design wise is it something that should be avoided? Lastly, what is the best way to go about configuring the routers and layer 2 switches so that vlans in LAN 1 could also be configurable on the switches in LAN 2 and vice versa?
