After 7513Router(RSP2-->RSP8), RSP-3-error, FEIP2-1-MSG....

hi.

After RSP2--> RSP8, so many error message and reboot..

We are getting so many error message on 7513 router.

what can be the solution for this.

Those messages do not sound very healthy. I would have the FEIP replaced.

I would remove the VIP and reseat the DRAM , then reload the box, If this still occurs open a TAC case to have the VIP replaced .

Hi,

If the RSP is the only (hardware) change that you made recently, chances are that it is that. Bad SRAM on the RSP can cause problems like this (including crashing the VIP). Does this always happen with the VIP in slot 8, or does it happen with different vips? (If it happens with multiple vips, or you get differnt crashed each time, you probably have a bad RSP) Can you move the vip in 8 to a different slot, and see if it starts happening with the new slot?
