Hi,
I would like to know what type of aggregation of 100LX that is available. Do I have to use a 4000 chassi with a WS-X4148-FE-LX-MT= card or a 6000 chassi with a WS-X6148-FE-SFP to aggregate 100LX ?
I have today a ring topology of 2955S switches on 100LX, but would like to change to a star topology. Is there any chance that the GLC-FE-100LX SFP will be supported in a 3560 or 3750 switch ?

think you can use a catalyst 6500 series switches for aggregation, check the following link for more information :

yes, the GLC-FE-100LX SFP will be supported in a 3560 or 3750 switch, you can check from the "Table 2 100-Megabit Ethernet SFP Module Platform Support and Minimum Software Release Requirements" in link you have specified :

Hi,
I was not able to read out of the table that there is support for GLC-FE-100LX as it is not mentioned in the transceiver colounm. I see however that the new 2960 models have support for this SFP. I therefore wonder if there is any physical/electrical limitation that govern that it can not be used on 3560/3750?
