I have a L3 router module in a 4006 lab and I've configured port.channels but when trying to apply and ACL the system console tells me that I cannot apply an ACL to any port.channel interfaces? O.K., so what about the port.channel 1 address? I also tried to apply an ACL to that interface with same result. I'm going to try the two GIG channels 3 & 4 that connect to the backplane of the 4006 but I bet it still won't work? Does anyone know if there is an interface that I can apply an ACL with the use of a L3 blade on a 4006?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

~zo

Re: alonzo-garza

You cannot apply them on virtual port-channel interfaces. They should work on gig interfaces. Make sure you have the minimum required software version. Document for reference
