I have a 3550 catalyst with anormal CPU use ?

The process that cosumme CPU is L3MD_STAT, and I don't know what it is ?

L3MD_STAT is that process concerns multicast trafic (or igmp activity ?) ?

I am not sure as to what L3MD_STAT is.

Have you used the show processes cpu command or some other means to find the cpu utilization?

The command shows the processes clearly and hence it might be easier for you to find the exact process.
