ANH - switchport multi command

Hi,

On the Cisco 3512, 3524 and 3548 switches I can use the command "switchport multi" command at the interface configurtion mode to enable a port to be member of more than one vlan on this switch.

I tried this command on the Cisco 2950-12 G switch and I didn't find it.

Doesn't the Cisco switch 2950-12G support the switchport multi command?

If not , what are the alternative that I can use in case I don't have network cards that support trunking?

You are correct. Multi-VLAN port is not supported in 2950/3550. Trunking is the only alternative
