architecture of 3548

Does somebody know the architecture hardware of Catalyst 3548?

In fact I have one switch which it doesn't learn mac-address only on the last six ports(from 42 to 48).I see increase packets ignored and overrun.

On ports from 1 to 41 all works in order.

thanks

Lorenzo

Re: architecture of 3548

It seems as tho you might have a faulty ASIC which controls either the Satellites or notify ring.

Each Fast Ethernet satellite can support up to eight independent 10/100BaseT Ethernet ports. Each Gigabit Ethernet satellite supports a single 1000BaseX port.
