We are downgrading our frame from 512 to 256. Do I need to change anything on our 2610 router?

Hi
If You are not using traffic shaping, custom queueing or any other bandwith management where Your actual CIR is used, and You will be using the same DLCI, and Your interface is DTE (getting clock from Telco), You need no changes

The lines in question are
fair-queue 64 256 0
service-module t1 timeslots 1-8
I'm pretty sure I need to change the fair-queue to 256, are there any other changes?

Hi,
leave fair queue as it is - it look like default settings.
What kind of connection you are getting - is it a fractional T1/E1 connection or leased line? in case of E1/T1 You will need to adjust timeslots number.

timeslots for 512 is 1-8
so for 256 you need to reduce it to 1-4.
