ARP Cache

Can anyone shed any light on this for me.

Is there a particular order or priority in which the ARP table stores addresses.

Thanks

Re: ARP Cache

No. The ARP table/cache, stores addresses in the order it learns them. If you ping 10.1.1.1 then 10.1.1.10, the 10.1.1.1 address would appear first in the ARP cache.

Hope this helps.
