AS5200 CarrierCard unknown type

Hello, I have a carriercard for AS5200,but didn't find out which type it is.

Only two numbers visible: 73-1667-10-A009-651-SP and S/N 04273238. Card is for our (customer) spare stock, so I have to know correct Board name.

First inserted in a AS5200, but no command shows me the model or type of this card.

Thank you , Ruedi

Re: AS5200 CarrierCard unknown type

This is a Microcom modem card (part number AS52-MC1 or AS52-CC-MCOM). The command "sh modem version" should show you that information, too.

Re: AS5200 CarrierCard unknown type

Hello, Thanks for info. I gave sh modem version command (CCard in Slot1) and saw this output:

Slot 1:

Carrier card:

hw version= 8, pld= 0, number_of_ports= 24,

max_modules= 2, max_oob_ports= 2

Modem Module 0:

number_of_modems= 0

Modem Module 1:

number_of_modems= 0

Then tried again to find out the type, with infos above, but not realy happy with the results, found in docus.

But your answer is ok. You can close this conversation.

Thanks for help

Re: AS5200 CarrierCard unknown type

If the carrier card faceplace looks like as figure 1..at follwoing url

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_serv/5300/hw_inst/spares/4520mica.htm#xtocid275657

its mica carrier card..

Microcom carrier card does look like as figure 4-5 in following url..with that card you can plug modem module without removing the carrier card as it has two entries available for modem module on the faceplate..
