We have an AS5300 (12.2 IOS) with mica modems and a PRI. We are using DialOut/EZ for outbound modem connections. Everything is working fine for local numbers, but we are having a problem with long distance. Our company has it setup through our telco to require LD codes. After dialing a normal long distance number, a tone is generated and the call won't process until a valid code is entered. If I configure the dial string with a valid code, it will time out and never connect. I have tried it with no commas, 1 comma, several commas, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone encountered this and have an idea of how to make it work?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
