We recently updated our IOS and modem code in an effort to stop one of our AS5300's from crashing so often. While the updates have seemed to stop the problems that we were having, the log does now show these messages occasionally:
2d06h: %MICA-3-UNKNINBAND: Unknown inband msg from modem (2/40): opcode = 0x54
What is this and Is it something to worry about?

Nothing to worry about for those messages..Issue "sh modem" and if it reports good normal stats across all the modems, i don't worry about it. Its a warning message which will be suppressed in future releases.
