AS5300 query

Hi,

We use As5300 for remote dial-in. We would like remote users to use the proxy server (cacheflow) for internet browsing. We have noticed that even with the proxy settings enforced on the IE browser on the remote PC, the remote PC accesses the internet site ie. www.cisco.com directly rather than via the proxy server. Has the As5300 contribute to the problem? How do I solve the issue?

TIA.

Re: AS5300 query

AS5300 doesn't have to do anything with the proxy sever, See the proxy is place in proper place and the the traffic is routed through the proxy.

Re: AS5300 query

Hi,

Thanks for your response. You are totally right. There is a setting in IE that allows you to use the proxy server when you dialin remotely. I have done some testing and it worked as expected.
