Async link via AUX port

I have a 1720 router, I want to connect to another async (RS232) device, on requesting info from that device I get some "extra"feedback from the device, in the beginning of the stream, I was able to reduce it by half with the "telnet refuse-negotiations"command on the AUX port. How do I get rid of the rest?A normal terminal server doesn't give me this feedback. The feedback in the beginning of the stream is "ff fd 18 ff fd 1f"?

Re: Async link via AUX port

From your description, it sounds like you will need to do a "raw tcp" connection.

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/700/14.shtml

For example : this creates an ip host TEST x.x.x.x 4065 and then configure on line

autocommand telnet TEST /stream

I believe it is the 4000 port range (raw tcp) and the /stream command that you need.
