"This command has no effect on this line; use modem AT commands instead"...CSCdz18536/ CSCdz77565 /CSCea25959 / CSCeb11186 ...is probably displayed when you do a sh run or write mem, this will not affect the connect speeds.

What kind of modem connection do you have on the 3700? Is it an internal Analog modem or Digital MICA modems or modem connected externally on a asyn line.

sh run / sh ver / sh diag should help.

Thanks, Mak.

thanks

plzzz

help me...

Since this an analog modem (NM-xAM) it can best do is v.34 modulation & does not support v.90 modulation.

Maybe the phone lines in use are noisey.

Another point is ensure that the 3700 chassis is properly grounded.
