Is there such a thing as ATM fine tuning prior to adding QOS on a per connection basis. I have just brought up a 45meg ATM link and I'm wondering if there is anything special I should probably do prior to turning up new client links.

Hello Jason,
I guess you could check if there are any known problems for the hardware you are using, or any know bugs for the IOS version you are running. Can you post the hardware specs and the respective IOS version number ?

Georg

Jason,
do you have a CCO login ? If you do, check out the following link:
CISCO 7200 SERIES ROUTERS Alerts and Troubleshooting

Also, here is the link to the software bug toolkit; there are simply too many bugs and features to post here, you might want to try the tool yourself and fill in the features you want to use:

Georg
