I am confused about the ilmi pvc in atm interface. I don't know when should I use it. I saw some config and it seems that when use arp server the ilmi pvc is not needed. can any body give me a hand? Thank You!
ILMI has many functions for ATM. In a LANE environment it's used for address registration with the LECS, other things use SNMP messages for PVC management. Here' s a link that defines a lot of ILMI uses. Hope this helps you.
