ATM ILMI STATE BUG

I have been working on an atm issue and the ilmi state is stucked in - restarting and WaitDevType.

Interface : ATMX/X/X Interface Type : Unknown

ILMI VCC : (0, 16) ILMI Keepalive : Disabled

ILMI State: restarting

The software ver is the latest..... 12.0 and up.

CCO says these errors are related to the following bugs....CSCdt47492, CSCdm26756, CSCdr28332. Bug is supposed to have been fixed with s/ver 12.0 and up.

Why would ilmi be stucked in ... restarting ?

The snmp-server community string is configured right?

Shut/no shut on the interface did not help.

Any ideas/help will be appreciated.

Have you tried to debug snmp packet and debug atm ilmi? Take a look at the negotiation process and see where is getting stuck at.
