ATM IMA with AIM module(s) on 3700 and 2691 series routers
We have some conflicting information from CCO and TAC with regard to support for a single ATM IMA group spanning two AIM modules in the 2691 and 37xx routers. Since the EOS of the 8 and 4 port netmods, the only avenue for ATM IMA is the AIM modules with VWIC-2MFT-T1 cards, and I am curious to see if anyone has seen single IMA groups with greater than 4 ports of T1 in these platforms.
Re: ATM IMA with AIM module(s) on 3700 and 2691 series routers
Looks like the support for IMA groups greater than 4 ports are not supported with 2 AIM cards. The 7200 series router with 8 port IMA port adapter is the supported method/option now that the IMA netmods are end-of-sale.
