Re: ATM interface carrier transitions

Hello Dragan,

carrier transitions on an ATM interface tell you how many times the interface has gone down or come

up. If you lose the signal on a line and then regain it, you will have two carrier transitions. A high number of carrier transitions is usually

indicative of line problems.

Regards,

Georg
