Can I use auto-rp with sparse-mode? Because I know RP announcement (220.127.116.11) and rp-to-group map (18.104.22.168) need use dense-mode. If yes, please tell me how to configure this kind of senario. Thanks in advance!
you have to use cisco's sparse-dense mode, under the interface use the command ip sparse-dense, this allows the rp announcement and rp to group map to use dense mode and all of the other groups that you have defined an rp for to use sparse.
