Hi,

Should i use "ip direct broadcast" when a new router is

connected by a Frame-relay interface?

Re: autoinstall over frame-relay interface

That command is not necessary. If you are not using sub-interfaces, use the following commands:

interface serial x

ip address a.a.a.a

ip helper-address (address of TFTP server)

frame relay map ip (ip address you wish to assign to the new router) (lci #)

If you are using sub-interfaces, use the following:

interface serial x.y

ip address a.a.a.a

ip helper-address (address of TFTP server)

frame-relay interface-dci protocol ip (ip address you wish to assign to the new router)

Good luck.
