Automatic Shutoff of Interface When Packets are Sensed as Dropped
I wonder if anyone has a suggestion about how to configure a Cisco gateway-router in a way that it automatically turns off an interface connected to a BGP or non-BGP peer if the router detects that packets routed out through this interface are being dropped. Would appreciate anyone's advise. Many thanks.

hello ,what encapslation on the interface conncet to the internet?If you use ppp,you can use LQM(link qulity moinitor function).when the link qulity is low and packet drop rate reaches a threld ,the system shall shut down the port
