Automating port status

Hi I am Ciscoworks 2000 newbie.

I am trying to find out if there is a way to automate port status info into a text file, that can be imported into a database. I notice that I can get the info through Campus Manager - VLAN port assignement.

Looking for something similar to the UT command that automates collection of user tracking data ?

I am not sure of the exporting to a text file, but I feel exporting to a .csv file (comma separated values) should be possible. Anyone know how this can be done?
