Aux back-to-back connection: DB-25 -- RJ-45 ?

How can I connect two routers back-to-back with aux ports? One is DB-25, the other is RJ-45.

And, in DB-25 to DB-25 environment, the document says CD pin of one side connects to DTR and DSR pins. I don't think they all make sense, right?

I have heard this works:

use the db-25 connector that comes with the console

kit. and the console cable. This is supposed to simulate a dial environment.

The console port is DB-25 female, but aux port is DB-25 male. I've tried DTE, DCE(modem) and DCE(non modem) styles in webpage http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/701/14.html. None works.

I thought DCE(non modem) should work, but no signal. When I tried DTE, "noCTS DSR* DTR RTS" appeared. I was confused.

After I checked. I found that RJ-45 connector haven't CD signal. I don't know whether it's necessary in such environment.

That page contains RJ-45 to RJ-45 and DB-25 to DB-25 styles only.
