Hi All,
I have 2 Cisco routers and want to setup a lab at home. I also have 2 DTE cables to connect to each router.
Is it possible to connect them together by using a Female to Female X21 interface extension cable ??
I know someone who can make this cable for me but I do not know the pin connections to make it x21 crosover ?
Is it possible or not ?
Can someone give pin connections for DCE and DTE ??
Your help will be much appriciated
Many Thanks

It is not possible to connect two DTE cables together with a converter, you need to use a DCE cable at one end as this has different pinouts in the DB60 headshell.
The following URL gives the pinouts for DTE and DCE cables, this should help you if you wish to make your own cable.
