Greetings, we currently use CWLMS 2.0 and I am about to upgrade to 2.1 (service release). My question is regarding the recovery from a failure. Is there any document out there that would go through what should be restored to bring a fresh install of the product to the point is was before failure or is it easier to simply restore the LMS root and all subsdirectories beneath it after the OS and product have been re-installed?

There's a backup/restore feature available in CW2K which you can use to backup all the databases and other necessary info on a regular basis or on a per need basis and then if the database corupts or else, you can restore this info back. See the on-line help for more details on this.
