Backup via DS3 link

Hi,

I have a satellite link backuped like this :

Nominal : 7513A <=> satellite (10 Mbs) <=> 7513B

Backup : 7513A <=> satellite (10 Mbs) <=> 7505A <=> DS3 <=> 7513B

My pb is that when i backuped via the DS3, the DS3 is not stable (link protocol up and down) and when it is stable the delay is around 2 and 4 seconds whereas when i'm in nominal operation the delay is 1 ms over the DS3.

Here are the conf :

7513B:

interface Serial9/0/0

ip address 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.252

framing c-bit

cablelength 10

dsu bandwidth 44210

serial restart-delay 0

service-policy output POL4

7505A :

interface Serial1/0/0

ip address 192.168.0.2 255.255.255.252

ip route-cache distributed

framing c-bit

cablelength 10

dsu bandwidth 44210

service-policy output POL4

I tried to remove the QoS and it's the same.

Do u think changing framing or encapsulation will do sommething ??

Thnks for ur help

Re: Backup via DS3 link

My understanding is queueing will be used only when there is congestion, that might be a reason why there is no difference with and without QoS.
