I'd like to know the differences between the above two modules. if the teleco provides me with BNC adapter, can i be sure it's 75ohm unbalanced type or not. Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I'm answering you with my own experience. Here in Spain, regardless of the telco provider, BNC connectors always means 75 ohm unbalanced. So you should use unbalanced ce1 module.

Anyway, you can use balanced (120 ohm) modules (usually RJ45 connector) on your routers with a 75-120 ohm adapter (a.k.a. BALUN) to connect to the unbalanced line. There are many vendors (including Cisco) that sell these adapters.

Your choice depends on money and hardware compatibility of router/modules
