Bandwidth utilization control

This should be pretty easy....I have several hundred users at a client site connecting to us via T1 (2620 at their end, 3620 at ours). They were experiencing sporadic performance issues and after troubleshooting we found several of them were running SQL queries across the T1 against a database that is >36GB. I realize that a QOS config would provide the control needed but there is quite a large amount of information to dig through. I am in need of a sample config that would limit users to a predetermined amount of bandwidth per connection. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Bandwidth utilization control

First of all make sure that you have a recent IOS version 12.1.x or better and lots of Router DRAM

Then decide if you want to use PQ or CQ.

Then use QDM to do the QoS configuration using the Web GUI
