bandwidth vs clockrate EIGRP

I have a 2600 connected to 3 remote sites. The CSU/DSU is setting the clock rate. When I do a sho run, the 2600 has a bandwidth of 128 and my remotes a rate of T1. Using EIGRP.

Everything WAS fine till they upped the line speed from 2 channel to 6 channel. Now the link is up, down. Assuming the CSU/DSU is configured to the new speed, does the mismatch in bandwith have anything to do with the up, down?

Thanks in advance DJ

Hi,

no the bandwith parameter is only used for the routing metric calculation and

the calculation for the reserved bandwitdh for the EIGRP or OSPF routing

protocols and has nothing to do with the link protocol wich is not running

correct.

Check the interface statistics on both sites for errors!

kind regards
