Hi,
I need to motivate to my client why he should get a NAM card for his 6500, but I have not had any experience on a NAM.
Where can I find the pro's, con's and functionality of the NAM as well as which one to go for (NAM I or NAM II)?
Thanks.

You'll find all the info related to NAMs at:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps2706/ps5025/index.html and
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps2706/products_data_sheet09186a00800a2c89.html including features, docs, tutorials etc. The main difference between NAM-1 and 2 is hardware. NAM-2 has a faster hardware accelerator card etc.

There are too many reason to list here. Constant port stats, built in decoder, vlan stats, netflow stats..... One of the best things is you do not have to be a genius to use it. One of the best things is it is the fastest way I have seen to locate host that are misbehaving. If you have Ngenius RTM it works beutifully with that.
