Best router/switch recommendations for home lab study

I am currently studying CCNA, CCSP, and CCNP. I have two 2507 (12.2) routers, one 1912-EN switch, and one 501 Pix. What more do I need to make a good home study lab so that I can practice all the features necessisary for CCNA/CCSP/CCNP? Will pursue CCIE later sometime next year.

Thankyou.

Re: Best router/switch recommendations for home lab study

I think you're covered for the CCNA. But I'd recommend a few more routers so that you can get a full-on WAN up and running. Use at least three (and if you can swing it, one more as your frame relay switch) so that you can get a nice failover/convergance scenario. You may also want to look into one of the router sim's that are out there. I've never used one..

Look under the career certifications forum. There are tons of postings for CCNP/CCIE lab setup.

In one of them I came across the Cisco gear used for the different CCNP exams:

BSCN

2 X Cisco 2501

2 X Cisco 2503

2 X Cisco 4000M w NP2E and NP-4T

BCMSN

4 X 1912

2 X 2916 Not in courseware

X 5505 w/ Sup IIIG NFFC RSM and Etherchannel modules

BCRAN

same as BSCN w/

700 ISDN router

ISDN BRI simulator

Hope this helps.
