Hi, I would like to apply in a more clear manner policies with our upstream ISP tiers, i need more info to evalute how can conmunities help me in this goal. i would appreciate any link with info regarding bgp conmunities use. Thanks ahead!
Communities can be used for a lot of things, but passing them to your ISP will only work if they accept them and pass them on to apply policy with them. There are some well known communities (e.g. No Export) which are very helpful in getting started.
