BGP multihome

as BGP is loop-free.

1. how is multihome to differenent AS? and muliti-path to a AS? Only one best path selected?

2. do load sharing via policying routing?

Not sure what your question is aiming at...

If you multihome to same AS, same router, you can configure BGP using loopback interfaces, use static routes on either ends, and loadbalance between the two links.

If you multihome to two or more AS, best path will be selected based on the BGP route selection process. If the same network is advertised by both ASes and all attributes such as Local pref, MED, orgin, AS path etc are same, then BGP wil check finally whether the BGP command "maximum-paths N" command is configured. If configured it adds both the routes from either AS. IF its not configured, the route from the neighbor with lowest router-id is used.
